However please note that on Sundays September 17, October 1 & 15, there will be only one 8am Holy Communion in our Team, and this will be at St Andrew’s Limpsfield Chart. Again, all welcome. If anyone needs a lift there, please let Pat Davies know in our Limpsfield Parish Office (712512).

Another date for your diaries: a visit from Bishop Christopher, our diocesan Bishop of Southwark, to celebrate the Festival of Candlemas (the Presentation of Christ in the Temple) at 10am with us on SUNDAY 28th JANUARY. Please come to join in on this special day.

Questions about life? Come and explore life, faith and meaning at our Alpha courses this Autumn.

Starting on Tuesday 5 September, St Peter’s will be running a follow-up to its successful Alpha ‘lite’ course earlier in the year. Entitled ‘The Jesus Lifestyle’, this course is based on the Sermon on the Mount and examines how we can apply Jesus’ teaching to our everyday lives. The course has a similar fomat to Alpha, following six talks on a different topic each week by Nicky Gumbel including ‘How to Live and Act with Integrity’ and ‘How to handle conflict’. The course also looks at generous giving, ambition and how to pray and fast like Jesus, with small group discussions and cake/refreshments. For more information or to sign up to the course, email Caroline at comms.lttm@gmail.com

On 31 October another six week Alpha course will run. This course, with talks by the inspiring Nicky Gumbel, looks at the basics of the Christian faith and aims to be an informal, open and friendly invironment in which no question is out of bounds.  Alpha is for anyone with questions about life and faith. The first session starts with an informal meal and each subsequent session always includes a slice of cake and refreshments.

On the evening of 24 October we will be holding a ‘just looking supper’ for anyone curious. There is no commitment to sign up to the Alpha course, just a chance to find out more, speak to people who attended the first course, hear a short talk from the group leader Paul and meet new people over food and wine.
